CALL TO ORDER:                          The meeting at the clubhouse was called to           order at 6:15 p.m.

OPEN FORUM:

No issues brought to the Board from residents.

OLD BUSINESS:

Minutes from the meeting on August 26, 2002, were read and approved with the deletion of one line concerning the new ARB. Rob Sauerwalt and David Randle gave first and second motions to approve the minutes.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Web

David Randle discussed billing procedures for the web domain.

Pool

Margo Bills submitted the proposed pool budget for 2003.  She would like the attendant hours to be increased to 55 hours next year and two round tables with umbrellas and chairs to be added to our pool furniture inventory.  She also mentioned there is a resident allegedly giving swim lessons at our pool.  Mary will call this resident to find out and let her know that our insurance does not cover conducting business while accepting money at our pool.

Grounds

Lot 275 needs to be maintained.  Mary will send a letter.

FINANCIAL:

Rob reported that our CD investments have been made at $10,000 each for 3,4, and 5 years.  A last CD was purchased in the amount of $18,000 for 18 months.  He will work on proposed 2003 budget to be presented at the Board meeting.

MANAGER’S REPORT:

Mary Norbech said the pest and termite controls at the clubhouse are “in the works.”  She is waiting to hear from the contractor about what day they will begin service.  We will have the parking lot re-striped and add two crosswalks near the greenway and the entrance to the rec lot.  The lots along Holt Road have been maintained, so we will just keep an eye on those areas for any future problems.

NEW BUSINESS:

We will have two bulletin boards constructed.  One will be near the entrance to the greenway near the clubhouse and the other will be outside the pool fence gate.  We will have Mary obtain new bids for these boards.  They will have cork boards inside and only the board near the greenway will have double-sided plexiglass doors.

ADJOURNMENT:

The next meeting will be Monday, October 28, 2002, at 6 p.m. at the clubhouse.  There being no further business to discuss, a motion was made to adjourn the meeting.

Respectfully submitted,

Barbara Key
